Launching "Pipi"
Nick is very handy with woodwork. They were given an old wooden row boat some time ago and Nick has been lovingly restoring her to seaworthiness, with a little hiatus in the restoration work while he recovered from hip surgery.
He has sanded and varnished and painted her a beautiful blue with white trim , so we decided to invite along the neighbours to watch the launch and drink some bubbles in "Pipi's" honour.
We didn't have far to go to launch her, as the boatramp is just a short stroll from Jan and Nick's place at Charlotte cove.
