Hobart
Barb was fortunate to have an opportunity to go to Tasmania with her sister Pamela for several days in early January to spend time with their older sister Janice and Brother-in-Law, Nick. The added bonus was to also catch up with Barb's daughter Jess who was working in Hobart.
We travelled down to Hobart on Jetstar. It was a very early start from Maleny for the 6.30am direct flight, but we made it in plenty of time and arrived in Hobart by 10.30am. Jan and Nick were waiting to pick us up and we detoured off to a Anaconda to help Jan and Nick select a tent and some camping gear they'd seen on sale.

After selecting a suitable tent we then went into the city to have lunch, as Jan & Nick had appointments with their skin clinic. in the city.
While they were tied up with that, Pamela and Barb walked down through Salamanca and on through Battery Point and Sandy Bay ending up near Wrest Point Casino where Jan and Nick picked them up before heading south to Charlotte Cove.
