John's Birthday at Woodford Green, London (Christine's place)
On April 17 we celebrated John's 72nd Birthday (quite right too) (oh and Easter Sunday) at Susan's best friend Christine's place. Christine still lives in Woodford Green on the edge of London, near where John grew up and where Susan and Christine went to school together several eons ago.

Christine had invited a couple of other friends along too. Jane and Pat, both of whom we'd met many times before.

It has to be said .... Christine knows how to cater. No-one left her place hungry as she'd filled us to the gills with several courses of delicious food including a wonderful birthday cake.
